A failed relationship is not necessarily one that ends in break-up, enduring one is not far-fetched.

How can you tell me to follow my heart when you don't even know the content of it?
Many things influence a person's reasoning including background, environment, up-bringing, peer, religion etc..., all these eventually establishes a psychological citadel.

Now, When i follow my heart, which allows me to fall in love with a guy out of pity, because i feel the guy shouldn't be passing through what he is, then, the relationship deserves to break.

If i want to go into a relationship because i want to take a revenge on a guy, without telling you, you advice me to follow my heart? Hmmnn

This is the point, Never tell anyone to follow his/her heart because may be responsible for the outcome of the relationship!

The heart can be influenced and manipulated either for good or bad.

Only God knows the human heart.

this is the point exactly...following one's heart is ambiguous!
first, ask yourself honestly, am i doing the right thing or what exactly i'm i up to?
if u can provide answers to these, then, ask if u can give the same advice to someone else if the person were to be in your shoes.
