I was pleasantly surprised to come across this, that during the making of the movie "The Passion of the Christ" the actor who played Jesus was struck by lightning during crucifixion scene.

Yes, Jim Caviezel was struck by lightning while filming the movie. And no, it's not a sign of any supernatural whateverthefúck. It happened when they were filming the sermon on the mount scene and he was standing over a on a hill overlooking a crowd. Anybody who goes and stands on the highest point around while in the middle of a lightning storm is liable to get struck. That's just how lightning works.
