This morning while being driven in a commercial bus as a thing habit i took out my phone and browsed nairaland only to be confronted with front news of Goldies death and my first impulsive reaction was shock then a senile smile came to my face.i know i should be angry or even mournful but i only smiled because i know the most dreadful has just happened to a soul who if am to judge by my weak knowledge hadnt prepared her self in a righteous way to meet her creator and face judgement which has eternal consequence.my mind went back to two weeks back when i was taking dinner in a fast food joint and a south african channel was showing the latest music effort of Goldie and her dressing and dancing was really explicit to say the least, i was embarrashed and had to look away from the tv thinking what a shameless agent of the devil that Goldie is ,i wasnt surprised to learn shortly after that that same video was banned by the Nigerian censore regulatory body for its lewd content. so today having been shocked by the talk of her death at such a young age i became worried and saddened by the thought of the fate of her soul .God so gracious allow all men to make their decision about their own eternal destiny. Heaven or hell is just not so far away but only a stone throw at the moment of death. Am guessing probably Goldie might have nursed the thought of a easy escape route of death bed repentance but death came so suddently for her to enjoy so a rare priviledge. I only smile for i dont want fall into depression for a soul which appear absolutely lost for eternity to the cold grip of satan's merciless claws.i shiver in fear for my own soul knowing that death can come in split of a second. 1 Like |

@OP, While I am not impressed by your physical way of life even ur spiritual life is not worth emulating. Who are u to smile at a dead when u don't know what will become your end. Physically, you are poor! As someone who has felt and experienced the reality of the existance of the spiritual realm i find it really disturbing to acknowledge the fact that alot of people live their lives so indiffently to the truth of the everlasting consequence of the judgement which awaits all souls. If people will be alert to this fact they will deal seriously with any form of hindrances that will lead them astray to damnation in hell. |

@poster, ur problem is that u are basically living in fear of hell and that is why ur whole thought process is one sided. How are sure that Goldie didn't live a more fulfilled life than u are doing now? U don't even know her relationship wit God. But u think that as long as she does not believe in what u believe in, then she is condemned. I'd rather think its u who needs to b pitied. The fear of hell cannot make u function as a normal human. Was Goldie worse than king Solomon who was a man after God's heart? What do think about billions of asians who are today and right now celebrating the year of the snake. if God didnt find it hard to cast away billions of rebellious angels who sinned from heaven,why do you think He would mind about casting away billions of human souls to hell for eternity. How comfortable are u to feel that God will punish billions of his creations that were made in his own image to eternity? personally i will enjoy it that when i die every one should roll out the drums and celebrate with joyful hyms of high praises to God for death is a great victory for all those who are sure that its time to get their great rewards.if its possible i would have enjoyed that God takes me home today at least i will be forever gone away from sharing one earth space with all the ungrateful,arogant ,self damned demon possesed humans who refuse to worship and fear the God who created them.it really makes me sick to the stomach. and for u dont mistaken serious talk for wickedness. |
