Do you use Glo network for your internet connection with Opera Mini or with UCWeb browser?

For some time now (about a month+), all my mobile Java apps had stopped working on Glo line, and CustomerCare agents cannot help with solution; they said those are third-party products and they cannot help.

Those apps and browsers still work on MTN (I have dual-SIM Samsung phone). Surprisingly, I can browse on Glo with the native browser (I mean browse "wey follow the phone come" so

...there is no doubt about having correct Glo mobile internet profile setup.

Please hint me if you ARE browsing on combination of Glo with Opera Mini or Glo with UCWeb, so I can isolate this as a case of intentional "inside barring of Java apps" that necessarily must use an internet connection (like GTMobileMoney banking app).

glo works perfectly for all apps weather inbuilt or 3'rd party. I do all downloads and even connect using modem. I use asha 200 dual sim.

This is the same thing that usually happened whenever I use my Java powered Samsung Chief Hero phone E1500. Anyway, I don't bother because I don't rely on it as my Galaxy Y Pro DUOS and Bolt Modem are very much on hand.

Instant Surf is the one day internet subscription on Glo. It cost N100 and gives 10MB with addition of 3MB bonus and last for 24hrs. To subcribe, dial *127*51# or text 51 to 127.

dont waste your time trying to multiply especially if you've never got it before. As i said before, this is an anomaly in glo network which people saw and utilized. It will alws be corrected. You'll notice that not every ones line multiplies including mine and i've stopped bothering myself about it. Glo is even owing me if we start calculating from the 1'st day the promo started...lol

Pls after sending PAYU to 127, if one wishes to revert back to g-bam data bonus, how will one go about it?

Once you recieve your daily 5MB sms, you are automatically subscribed to the glo data bonus and Sending payu to 127 dosen't change your tariff plan.
I use the payu system when glo refuses to give me my daily bonus and the available one i have has expired. This just resets your data account. I noticed that once i do it, i recieve my bonus within hours.

bros that thing has hang again i cnt browse again,and when i send that payu ish..what i get is "Dear customer,the plan you are trying to purchase is not compatible with your current data plan"...this is annoying and i aint on any data plan atall..dey dnt want to give me my my 5mb and they dnt even want me to browse with my own credit,"which kyne useless service con be dis" ..see as 3g+ just dey waste smh!
