Pls any information on the 2013 graduate trainee program?

Honestly,I don't know what the problem is.The wait is tiring.I did hear there is a training in March/April this year so I am thinking they would call by end of February or beginning of March.Did the HR representative tell you about any interview after the one with the Partner ?

Be patient,there are those who had their test and all interviews last year and have not resumed.I think those that started the process this year would resume in September so they would take their time before calling for interviews.

Its obvious KPMG recruitment is a thing of true patience. I read a thread on the guys who wrote the test in jan 2012 and passed. They resumed in october 2012. Now there is a set that started mid-2012 and they are still waiting. I wrote the test and passed in Jan dis year. And I guess my own waiting has just begun... Pls guys what are ur own veiws and opinions?

You have a long way man.I wrote the test in November 2012 and have done 3 interviews.Not heard anything from them yet so for those that wrote the test this year,they have a LOOOOONGG wait.

@phonon... No show yet. But try calling the HR. The last time I heard from them was when I was asked to change my choice of dept.

Calling them sometimes results in a very tense conversation where they are reluctant to release pertinent information regarding the recruitment.We deserve to know what is going on.What department where you required to switch from and which did you eventually switch too?

At least some of you have done interviews. I have done test since january and yet to be called for one interview. I'm not even bothered cause they said we will be resuming in october or so. I feel you guys pain, Maybe they want to push everybody to october. ma

I applied for Audit.The information given to those of us that applied in November 2012 was that Audit positions will be filled by January 2013 and other units by June 2013.That influenced people's decision as to which unit to make first choice and January has passed without any meaningful progress.

For those of you who applied this year,you were told the recruitment is for October 2013 so you not being called for interview yet is expected.THERE IS A LOT OF TIME BEFORE THEN.As for those who have done all the interviews,they should be more concerned.

When they didn't get back to me "shortly", I got back to them and they said they would get back to me. Thanks for this thread, I was tempted to call them again.

Bros,we plenty o.:-D This is becoming very difficult to bear but I would advice you to call them since you have not done your last interview.I literally had to beg them to get me my third interview before they finally obliged.Let one just remain hopeful.

@Phonon: Seems I would have to call them again next week, I wrote the test in December 2012, I disturbed them before I got the result for the test, I don't want to build a reputation of being a pain-in-the-yansh when I want things but they are leaving me with no choice. When did you write your own test? Got any hint for me regarding the Partner Interview?

I wrote mine in November 2012.Based on my experience with the Partner interview,it was a friendly chat.The person who interviewed me told me if I had passed through the Manager stage,then I must be worthy of a place(not her exact words).

-Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
-What plans do you have for writing ICAN? Etc

I was just invited for an aptitude test on friday 8th of march,2013,am wondering why they need to recruit more when there are still many waithing to resume with them

The HR lady told me that they were asked to put the recruitment process on hold, that as soon as they allocate time for interviews and stuffs, we will hear from them. "Shortly" is between now and October.

You guys should just try to get your mind off KPMG.Whenever they feel like calling,let them call.PERSON NO GO DIE OF HYPERTENSION.

We in the same shoes,been waiting over a month to get a call up for the 'partner'interview

You are not alone.When KPMG says they will get back to you,they eventually will but not as soon as you might want.Patience is key.I have solace in the fact that the recruitment is merit-based so if one has the necessary abilities,the job would be theirs.

@phonon, One I guess, it was actually a grp exercise after the aptitude test. I chose C&B. Waitn 4d next stage which is an interview with the manager. Dunno what to expect self. D wait is tiring. My hrt raced when I got d mail before I went thru d details eventually.

I got it too Mr Phonon, so, there is still hope...this little gesture has allayed my fears to an extent.
