why do we have so many church denomination?

I wonder . Maybe because we have too many people who think they're sent by God, some were really sent, others just went.

Basicaly, d main thing as a xtian is to strive to make heaven at last and in so doing, not forsake d assembly of d brethren i.e attend church. No mater what, churches both fake n genuine will arise, make sure u attend a church where d undiluted word of GOD is preached, n also build up urself cos WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN, THERE'LL BE NO CHURCH ANYMORE!

God is not going to ask you on details as per the name of the Church you went to, who your Pastor was? what he Preached and did not Preach, who encouraged you in Church and who didnt?, what your reason of believing in Jesus was/was not.

He will ask you what you did with the death of His Son, Jesus. ROm 14:10-12 We will each give an account of ourselves(not of someone else) before God.

One truth though: Birds of the same feather flock together, abi.
So you cant say you belong to God's fold without been in His flock.

The answer is simple. There are as many churches as there are as many Callings. Your question should be directed primarily at Jesus, and it should go something like this: "Lord, why did you call so many people to do the same job in a different way?"

I knew that one was coming. Yes, God will not ask you what religion you belong to. No one gets to heaven on the basis of religion, but on Faith in God repentance of sin.

Final note: God will not accept any excuse from anyone for not believing in Him.!!!!

WE HAVE TOO MANY CHURCH B/COS GOD CANNOT ALLOW HIS CHURCH TO BE MUZZLE BY ONE MAN OR WOMAN. THATS WHY gOD WILL ALWAYS RAISE MEN TO MOVE OUT FROM WRONG PATH TO RIGHT PATH

why do we have so many countries?
why do we have different GSM NETWORKS?
You see we keep attacking the church,the foundation and pillar of the truth.
why do pastor have jets?why do the church do his and that?
why do pastor preach on SIN or why do pastor talk about money?
and all stufffs like that.
and am yet to see or read questions like why do presidents have jet when most people around the world or even in their country suffers?

My answer to your question:
Jesus the Christ during his earthly ministration had 12 apostles sent to rise others. So,why didn't he have one
For us xtians to accomplish the task given to us by our lord Christ.We need more churches,more apostles etc as they are be called by God to take up the task.

i came to nairaland to have fellowship with God's children
believers in Christ so as to encourage ourselves in the faith that we believed and with one mind carry out the great commission giving to us by Jesus the Christ and not to debate on irrelevant issues but am amazed at  i what saw.
