I responded to an advert by E.Breakthrough Nig Ltd in the Guardian of 11th March 2008. When I got there (on 15th March) I almost felt depressed;the environment alone will get you wondering what kind of job they are going to get for you. Very local & unprofessional!! I even paid N100 for a file that will contain my credentials.

I got an SMS from them (2 days later) telling me to bring my CV along with N1350 for my recommendation letter. I can imagine how many jobseekers would have gotten that SMS. I just feel they are out to make as much profit as possible (i mean really hammer)!

I am not writing to defend esther breaktru.Last year i applied to them and i was called for a test.the company is a recruitment agency and so we paid 50 naira for file.A week later i was informed that i was successful in the test and that i should come and collect the introductory letter to the company that needed my services.I got to their office and was told that i will pay1250 which i did and also they will collect 10% of my first salary.Finally,i was posted to a company at ikorodu and i went for an oral interview.The company promised to got back to me and told me that their M.D will see those of us that were successful.But till date i haven't heard from them.Though esther break tru is a bit real but you can hardly find an agency that doesn't do so.The only solution is to continue to ask God and keep submitting.one day one will get lucky.Keep your head up and keep d flag flying.God bless us all

Hi Guys i just stumble on your messages yesterday though old and out dated they are not all correct especially about Esther Breakthrough. from what many of you said, none has given it a trial so condemning the agency is certainly not the the best interest of the nation or the innocent job seekers. i will suggest you give an overwhelming evidence before you go on to condemn. Though i have not got a job through them, yet i see them as a responsible agency. Let just pray that the fear of God should be their watch words in their dealings with job seekers and Nigerians generally.

the problem is not ester bt but the problem are job seekers.a graduate at this level will fall so cheaply for a mere frude like that. Though ester BT are agency but the monetary part should be between the company and ester BT.Ester BT are a definate frude star and people will continue to land on their net.they(ester BT)has already pay their way to the police,to them ,they re save but one thing 4 sure,their cup will soon get filled up and God will punish them if they dont repent now.

It's a pity that the terrible job market in Nigeria is making graduates for all sorts of job search scams. My advice for anyone to carry out some investigation before engaging any job search agency. Stay away from agencies that demand money to give access to sometimes non-existent or poor-paying jobs.

It appears that while Barack Obama is doing everything to put Americans back to work, our own government is deaf to the plights of graduates in this crushing recession.

i told a friend of mine that i was going to reply on this thread on nairaland and he said i should not cos people will think i am an agent but i think i owe estherbreakthru this,i got my job thru them in march after the test and so so so but it took a while and i was not happy wit the salary but i still took it and i am still employed in that company winfood nig ltd.it is just that the pay is not really much as i expected but at least i am employ and i didnt pay that 20% until abt 2 months ago when they came to the company to find out those that has been employed but i cant say of others o,it may be 1 out of 10 but i was lucky not to be duped o,i was actually given a job after four trials,i was sent to four places b4 that place eventually clicked

i will not advice any serious person to go to easther breakthrough they are fake i have been there with my babe possibly they might have info about a job in a company but not connected to the company they will use that info to skin people.

i cannot say esther breakthrough  are fraud , the only thing is that they capitalize on individuals that are jobless. I have never been there before but i met one of their agents at a place ( name witheld). The company gave them a list of vacancies that existed which needed to be occupied while i sat down waiting for who i came to see, so i cant say that they are fraud but they do tend to over do stuffs like asking pple to pay for stuffs and all those their 20% agreement a poster said earlier on

they are fake and capitalize on poor applicatant to make their millions.check thurs and tues guardian they always post vacancies there it got to a point i started asking question.1.if the vacancies they post every week exist there would not be any single person in lagos looking for work they are not the only we there are Ocean gate,pss Nigeria and some that i cannot recollect off heart now i have one of those that do buy guardian when my babe was searching for job and we have tested all this that i wrote their name here once again they are fake.they will have a vacancy which might not be directly to me and they will invite 500 applicant for same job and ask them to pay 1,500 for employment letter can you imagine how much they will make with this nonsense employment letter though i did not drop a dime i asked them to deduct 20% of my babe first salary if they know that they are real.ThankGod she has finallt gotten a job not from any agent but advertised on nairalist.com.

sorry for my typo fellow nairalanders e.breakthrough a confirmed fake the company they sent my babe to when we got there the so called admin officer said she is not on sit we kept waiting outside untill we were tired and called her she told us to come back a day after that she is a very busy person that is when i got to know that there is no vacancies even if there is any why on earth should they invite thousands of people for a single vacancy and start asking them to pay 1,300N each when you know that it is just a single vacancy.Another gunny thing about all this fake agencies is that every tuesday and thurs they advertised almost the same vacancies ranging from 10-20 vacancies.

I think we have E breakthrough agents here in this forum,they are simply wolves in sheeps cloth,E breakthrough are fraudsters,they steal from unemployed graduates.
I think is time EFCC should come and probe them.
Why dont they wait till the person get the job before they will collect whooping N1300 from them,multiply that by 50 people everyday,that woman and her cohorts must be probed.God dey sha,they will continue to get one family problem or the other.

from experience, i wouldn't encourage anybody to patronise esther breakthrogh as they are called. i was there and i refused to pay the N100 for the file and that was when i still believed that pay job is the solution. but now i thank God i've found for myself something that works and i am very comfortable with it.at least for now , i'm making like 12k daily and still counting, , let me introduce u if u care. email me for info to pattybf@yahoo.com

I have this moral burden to say it's not always negative about Esther breakthrough beacuse through them I have secured 2 jobs that at every cross road of my employment I have been able to secure some life saving jobs through them.
