You judge yourself "YES OR NO ".

I think OBJ mirror the society/country he represented.

If you jail him again it will be meaningless b'cos he came out of there to become HERO, coming out will make him a MESSIAH.

I think he should be jailed and disgraced and barred from all political activities

I don't think he should be jailed but castrated, caged and put in Ota farm. This could serve as a potential source of revenue (Tourism) so that people can come and watch the man who made history with our economy for 8yrs. cool

@Germannig you are such a fool for insinuating such an allegation. why are you people calling for someone to be jail without any indictment? was he convicted of any crime? was due process not followed as we are learning everyday with the investigative panel?

Stop jumping into conclusion my fellow Nigerians, the media are giving us false information on the investigative panel. One can only be jailed after been convicted of a crime. The is democratic government not a totalitarian regime.

Re: Should Obj Be Jailed by Depilot(m): 2:27pm On Mar 23, 2008
@poster, the citizens of nigeria should be given a chance to vote and determine whether obsanjo should return back to jail or not. the decision shouldn't be only for the senates to make. the money obasanjo stole belong to nigeria not just senates.
Re: Should Obj Be Jailed by chidichris(m): 3:24pm On Mar 23, 2008
yommy,
u asked a question and i only answered to my own knowledge or are u advising me to say what others have said?
u asked such a question without taking a position on the matter. are u working for obj? if i may ask u, do u think obj shld be jailed? tell us why.
pls if u are into sports, concentrate on that and u have right to come in here to advertise ur forum without borthering urself with politics.
mamajama,
obj was indicted alongside atiku over their joint account through which a lot of funds where stole from nigeria.
again, his presidential jet was used by andy uba to launder money into the usa and parts of the funds where traced to the purchase of farm tools that where sent to otta farm so i think nigerians have a good reason in indicting him on that.
he was also indicted by a court in abia during orji uzor kalu's regime.
all nigerians indicted him over the april pools alongside iwu.
the bola ige's family indicted him over the death of their father.
gbenga obasanjo even indicted him over seducting and sleeping with his wife.

all these not withstanding, he shld not be sent to jail because he is still clean because he is obj.
Re: Should Obj Be Jailed by almondjoy(f): 9:49pm On Mar 23, 2008
No need.  Too late for that now.  He should have been jailed like 30 years ago with Dimka or Vatsa them.  Now, he is in the worst jail he can ever find himself. . . .sleeping with his daughters, grand-daughters and all his sons' wives! cheesy

The ultimate curse!

He goat!
Re: Should Obj Be Jailed by ono(m): 10:17pm On Mar 23, 2008
