Assalamualaikun my sisters. Please can anyone share the isalmic view on IVF. Secondly, if one has more than enough viable embryos to be transfered, what happens to the remaining embryos u don't need. If one discards, will that mean killing a baby?

you destroy the extra embryos, no freezing, no donation. If you are sure your embryos are safe and no mixing, then use all.
they only say destroy, cos its unlawful for someone else to use your embryos or you mistakenly use someone else.

I meant for example, you have 5 extra embryos, u freeze them. When u r ready for next kid, you use. It saves money cos u don't have to do ivf over and over, just transfer. That works better abroad, I don't know if they freeze well in naija.

Allah may destine by fate dat His servant remain barren.No human or jinn effort can change this.But if a certain physiological problem accounts for infertility,then a medical attention can be sought.In a situation where infertility is inflicted by the devil,jinn or through sorcery,the spiritual healing prescribed by Allah and His messenger can be appropriately employed.Some scholars of sunnah have identified d following symptoms of demonic infertility:chest pains which may be more severe especially after the Asr period and towards evening or night hour;nightmare or restlessness in sleep;psychological stress and severe headaches or migraines e.t.c

It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays twelve rakahs during the night and day, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before Zuhr and two after, two rak’ahs after Maghrib, two rakahs after isha and two rakahs before Fajr prayer.” (al-Tirmidhi, no. 380; classed as authentic in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6362)

The prophet(SAW) said:"No muslim supplicates to Allah that does not involve sin or cutting the relations of the womb,but Allah will grant him one of the three things.He will either hasten the response to his supplication,save it for him until the hereafter,or would turn an equivalent amount of evil away from him".The companions asked,"what if we keep requesting from Allah?" He replied,"there is more with Allah".(At-Tirmidhi)
So lets keep up the faith that our supplications are being heard by the "All-hearing" and being treated accordingly.And very soon inshaAllah they would materialise the way we want them to-amiin
When we supplicate,lets put the following into consideration...
Ask for anything and everything halal
start and finish with praising Allah and sending blessings upon the prophet(SAW)
Start the dua with yourself and work your way down to the other people you would like to pray for
Remember to ask for forgiveness,pray for guidance and jannah and other muslims
The prophet(SAW)would sometimes raise his hands when making dua at the time of dire needs
Being humble as opposed to shouting and being aggressive
Be confident that Allah will answer your prayers for Allah does not respond to a disinterested,negligent heart.
Use legislated duas-like prophet Yunus prayer when he was trapped in the belly of the fish,prophet Ibrahim prayers when he was thrown in the fire etc in the Qur'an
May Allah grant our duas quicker than we hope-amiin

We're all humans and its natural to feel sad and downcast when things are not going our way.But then,we should also remember that we have a God that is capable of all things and He is Monyashau.He does things how he wills and He knows best.This just brings to mind the story of the companions in the battle of badr.when the muslims were being killed despite their small population and they were asking the prophet "when will the help of Allah come"? And Allah responded via a revealation in the Qur'an "verily the help of Allah is near".My sisters,indeed the help of Allah is near.when events get to the climax,it surely must come down.when things get extremely difficult,be rest-assured that the solution is nearby.I feel bad too cos I was really hoping on AmatuRahman's BFP and looking forward to her telling us the goodnews only to hear otherwise but who are we in the know?cos only Allah knows all things.A muslim is one who soldiers on after a fall.cos he knows that all his affairs are good for him.so let's take heart and move on being happy and hopeful of Allah's mercy.we actually have a lot to be thankful for.our lives,our well-being,our marriages(some women lost their marriages after trying for just 2years),even being able to afford going to hospitals to seek treatment is a blessing in itself cos some people cannot even afford it.so let's remain thankful cos Allah says when we're thankful He'l bless us more.pls AmatuRahman,Rainyday,Zeezzy,Beloved1993,Phewme and all.Allah will be with us all.

as for me, I have taken my mind off ttc, cos my body isn't cooperating yet. Patiently waiting for my miracle bfp

I have done the ruqyah before, I didn't add any comments cos what zeezzy posted was correct.
I want to add that there is an audio of Quranic verses I saw online, it is used to diagnose if jinns or sorcery is involved in a persons life. They say someone has to be with you when you play it. If a person is affected, they do react to the Qur'an being recited. And then the treatment is what zeezzy posted. Dh didn't let me use this ruqyah diagnosis.
All I do is play the Qur'an while sleeping.
there is something an Alfa back home taught my husband to do for me anytime I have had bad dreams after my surgery. I had the same dream 3 days in a row.

Suratul Yunus verse 81, recite from Qola Musa to the end of 81 into water and drink, into water and bath. You can also recite anytime. If you read the translation of that verse, you will understand what it is about.

I just found out that my dad had been using that prayer for me for over a year. He said a lot of Alfa's use it.
