At 11.33mm(width) it's quite okay.
A 800*480 display is manageable. Compared to the s4-mini for example: 540*960 pixels (256 pixels density)
Now this is the turn-off
Ice-cream sandwich? Like WTF? In 2013?

I've not used an ice-cream android OS phone before but I wouldn't want to try it. Unless you can upgrade the OS to Jellybean 4.0 - which is becoming extinct too, with 4.1, 4.2 and the recently launched 4.3 out.
With 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 512 ram.
This is definitely not a heavy usage smartphone.
Now honestly, honestly, 512RAM is just too bad even for 30k. You will experience glitches while playing game, it will hang, operation would be okay but not smooth, browsing might be better than JAVA phones but terrible when compared to smartphones with 1G, quad core processors, 1.5GHz and above.
GPS - good
NFC - no
5MP camera considering its price is okay cos of the 8MP and 13MP cameras available out there.
0.3MP second camera - at least it has a secondary camera.
Hmmm, going by specs its quite respectable.
If you are just joining the android users community, you should like it, as u are still a learner. If you have handled just, just! the samsung s2 (not s3, not s4
) then this will look like shi.t to you, permit me.
My advice is that you go UK-used samsung galaxy s2, or HTC AMAZE. When I say UK-used, I mean refurbished smartphones. (Pls check the meaning of refurbished if u don't know). Refurbished s2 should around 30-35k or even lesser , HTC amaze 23-30k.
If there is any area u don't understand, pls signify.
