Bus conductors, drivers and agberos had organised themselves to deal ruthlessly with the bit.ch only for them to get there and see a man standing akimbo and wearing a military uniform, he wasn't even with a gun. Thet were dispirited and started disappearing. You dare not try that as an ordinay individual lest you tell the story at an orthopaedic hospital.
The confidence, temerity and guts that made the military man do that stemmed from who he was and not from an unexistent tosh or bunkum.
I emphasize that things like money gives confidence (and by extension answers all prayers.
When you have them people respect you which in turn boosts your confidence.
One will only be deluding oneself by a simulated confidence when one has got nothing. Rather one should strive and carve a niche for oneself in any field of human endeavour.
