The Congress for Progressive Change, CPC held its last National Convention as an independent party at the Eagles’ Square in Abuja today. During the convention, the party was formally dissolved, and is now set to join the new All Progressives Congress.

The motion for the dissolution was moved by former Vice Presidential candidate of the party, Pastor Tunde Bakare and it was seconded by the CPC’s National Legal Adviser, Malami Abubakar.
