seunlayi: i have started considering getting another airtel sim after i have threw my last 3 airtels sims away. you guys dey make sence die-die. although, i don't Whatapp. I'll advice you not to think about it. The network is the most useless one when it comes to internet services. We know mtn is expensive but at least them dey try deliver. But this airtel doesn't deliver at all. CRIMINALS!!. I subcribed for their BIS, and after the first day the network went off for like 3wks. I call customer service tire. I even went to their office yet no way. I had to resubcribe with mtn. Just 3days ago I decided to try them again so I could use it on my pc. After just 1hr the network went off. I called customer service, they told me to wait for 24hrs they are working on it. Till now no show. My money gone. The worst is than immediately I insert that airtel sim into my phone my phone will stop working and start ceasing like there's virus in the sim. It will then show 'error reset' and go off. I can't even use my phone to call. I won't go near that network again. They should eat the 1200 before they spoil my phone. |

omaigala: SIMPLE, just delete & re-download it after 1 year, you will get another year free. Or just pay the $1?? Come on, its $1(N158) for 1 year, people!!! If you find the app so useful, why is it inconceivable to pay N158 for it for one year? |

Osyxcel: #100 is particularly useful for users who don't use constant/sufficient Data plans....if U av a robust Data Plan, this is irrelevant. I guess that's okay for some users |

ITbomb: Also offering free mobile TV, where are these people taking bandwidth from that they can't reduce the price of their bundled from 1.2k for 1gig to N100 per gig bro, you are greedy ooo... 100naira per gig Even in Europe and the US, it aint that cheap. What you should ask is a "fair and fast" plan, not a cheap and extremely slow plan. |

ITbomb:Says who? On ur bb, just goto settings>advanced>applications. Once d application list builds up, scroll down to where whatsapp is and click ur bb button to view d options. Select EDIT PERMISSIONS and u'll freedom to deny whatsapp permission to connect or it should only connect on approval. Try it. |

Ok. First, Airtel is offering UNLIMITED Internet traffic for the use of WhatsApp on your NUMBER for N100 per month. Sounds good. BUT, a tonne of other services that need to access the internet are running on your ANDROID phone. When you turn on data connection on your phone, all those services begin to access the Internet. For these, Airtel charges you 5K/Kb. |

My question is- does dat N100 cover the sharin of videos (large ones I mean) and pictures too? Cos dat'll mean dat an average user will be able to use over 1gb within d 30-days period. If it covers dat with no extra charges, then airtel is on point. |

ciphoenix:Per file or per month? If it's per month, then whatsapp is shit. But if it's per file, I'll just keep sending mp3 worth rangin frm 5mb-10mb. And I still hav like 300songs to share. Shey airtel no go talk? That still means one can transfer 1gb of files within a month.even if it did, i think whatsapp has a limit on size of file shared (12MB or so) |
