Yes I agree. Keshi messed up on this. Yobo is a senior player/captain so he should have at least informed him.

I personally don't like Yobo per se but he is right.

Even though Yobo may nt b needed in d squad again, he shd av bn called by Keshi dat he is nt on d list. @ least officially he is stl d captain.

Which dirty maturity, Keshi did it to Osaze, Eminke now Yobo, that man needs to be spoken to because, he will destroy all he has worked for with his own hands
misterh: It' s situations like this that breaks a team. He should have made his grievance known to Keshi, instead of coming public with it. He should have shown enough maturity on how to deal with issues like this. The team is still a work in progress and cohesion is needed now. I'm not trying to justify Keshi but what Yobo did is not the best. My opinion though!

I agree. I am not crazy about Yobo, but he is not making an illegitimate complaint. He did well for Super Eagles in his time and [s]got rewarded with a sweet wife with ice-cream boobies & laps[/s] should at least be rewarded with the respect that he deserves.

However, i think Yobo should respect himself and retire willingly. He is just hanging on to enjoy allowances and other bounty of "service" in the Super Eagles.

This massive sense of entitlement from Nigerians especially Super eagles to be informed about an open post/position is really getting out hand.

As soon as the list of players are out, you have been informed! Or, Keshi might as well begin to place a call to every dikkk and harry who've played for Super eagles.

Keshi has just confirmed the grouse of Osaze. Remember Osaze remark about Yobo? A captain being taken out of reckoning of team's affairs is not captain enough. It now boils down to why are we criticizing Osaze for crying out loud?

I support Yobo's view on the non-invitation to the squad,its a big DISRESPECTFUL to a team captain by the coach.Keshi is always rude!!!

dont worry, keshi would come and say he did inform yobo but chossed to ignore and ran to the press.

anyway, i feel yobo should retire, it was obvious in the nations cup that he was only coming in just because he is the captain and not a tactical change. yobo wont even play the match for sure but yet still talking of not been called up.
as a captain, nobody will want to force yobo out like sack him, is not done but at least use his church mind to retire.

when raul of R.madrid knew he was not needed,he gracely retired and moved on, interest of the team first and not your own.

Joseph Yobo is damn right. Its very disrespectful!! For the fact that he is the captain makes it mandatory for Keshi or any member of the technical committee of the NFF to call him up and inform him of their decision to leave him out. Can the English FA do this to a certain Stephen Gerrard?? These are the things Osaze Odemwingie keeps ranting about. The NFF disrespect players, and this kills their motivation for giving 100 percent wen they play the Super Eagles.

Me too. You should not use people and dump them like waste. Courtesy demands that Keshi calls up the gentle man to let him know he wont be needed for the Kenya clash. Keshi can even call him aside to request that he resigns from the national team honorably and with decorations. Keshi should just learn from this to improve his skills as a Manager. Jose Mourhino is master in this game of managing teams because he is ever at ease with his players, in good and in bad times.

The Super Eagles escaped with a 1-1 draw in the World Cup qualifying match after a last minute gasp effort from Italy-based Nnamadi Oduamadi saved Nigeria from an embarrassing defeat at home.

FOR ALL THE MUMUS THAT HAVE FORGOTTEN THEIR RIGHT FROM THEIR LEFT, YOBO HAS MADE A VALID POINT. KESHI IS NOT MANAGING THE SITUATION WELL. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN APPROPRIATE TO AT LEAST INFORM YOBO, AS THE 'ERSTWHILE' CAPTAIN, THAT HE WONT BE LISTED IN THE TEAM... MAYBE EVER AGAIN.

some are here and they dont even understand constructive argument yobo wasnt complaining he was leftout of the team but saying he was not inform about his fate as per that match and prior to the team selection which he was 100% right to query the decision of keshi has a bad manager of the team even as a captain he was not notify of the manager's decision. that is really a bad one from keshi not a good way to manage group of people. keshi should learn from other top manager that are confident about their job and not afraid to face any confrontation as a result of their decision
