100% TRUE LIFE STORY!!!
On the April 1, 2013, i was with this newly married woman in her shop when a message came in her phone. As she was browsing through the message, she paused and started calling a number that was ringing but with no responds, she tried another number which says that the number is switch off; she busted into tears, rolling on the floor, crying on top of her voice. Before i could figure out what was wrong, the place was filled up with crowd. I picked up the phone from the ground as it fall off from the woman's hand to read the message and see what prompted her crying. Guess what the message read? It reads "i recieved a message some few minutes ago that your husband is dead, is it true?" our effort to call the message sender's number proved abotive as the number will ring but with no responds. The woman was there shouting "ewoo! ewooh! So my husband is dead, i have called his number but it is not going through and i tried his sister's number, no responds. At this juncture, we advised the woman lets go to their house and confirm the news; She agreed. On getting to their house, the husband was there washing his car, as we approached nearer to him he asked us surprisely, what was wrong? Only then did we realized that the messsage sender played an April fool on us. Althou, we narrated the whole story to the husband. Come to think of it hasn't this "April fool" of a thing caused more damages than good to our society? Hasn't it come off-age "April fool" should be abolished in Nigeria if not the whole world? Nairalanders, what are your opinion on this? And what measure(s) can the woman use/apply to track or rather know the person that sent her this ill-message? Ur suggestions pls.

In a country like Nigeria we hardly have wat to smile at so pls let it stay jor. Secondly, it teaches us not to believe every story dat we hear.
