Do you know that even if you are not on any subscrition plan on MTN network, you can still be charged? I no somebody will say how.
Now consider this fraud done to me MTN. I am on the xtracool platform on MTN. I use my MTN basically for free night calls because, glo is my network for life. So, it all happened last week Friday. I was having about N12 something kobo in my MTN account. I decided to load a 100 card. It was successful. I could not make calls that night.
Then, on Suturday night, i decided to make some calls. I was dumbfounded when their voice machine informed me that, there is no call credit in my account. I checked my account lo and behold, i was having N0.08kobo in my account. I immediately called their customer care that night to report my experiences and to my surprise, Mr Benjamin who attended to me told me that my recharge history is yet to be uploaded into their system. He asked me to call back in the morning. I gave them three days to call their customer care again. And again, the same message of my loading history not uploaded was the issue from attendant.
Today is Thursday and my loading history is yet to be uploaded into their system. We must resist these robbers and fraudsters who are out to defraud us of our hard earn resources and then vanished to South Africa to enjoy their loot.

I have had a similar experience. Things like this hardly happen in other countries.

We pay much for calls and can't even get quality service undecided.  A Nigerian company cannot do such abroad otherwise they would either have to compensate the customer with much more credits or they get sued and the customer always win! Even the NCC can't come to Nigerian's aid.

I tried a number, a phone that was beside me for over 1 hour and the call didn't connect! What bullshit! MTN are supposed to be jacked for the damages caused. If they cannot maintain quality service, they should pack their bags and Go!  angry

Dear,

Thank you for your mail.

You were billed during the happy hour because you made calls to a glo line (8051516844)all thru the night.You can only make free calls to MTN nos ONLY

Thank you for choosing MTN.

Regards,

Olubunmi

Nairalanders, can you imagine the rubbish mtn sent to me? 08051516844 is my personal glo line. How can i be stupid to call my glo when both phones are with me? Any way, i sent them this bomb shell.

Dear Olobunmi, thank you very much for the insult you melted on me calling me a fool that does not know what he is doing.
That cannot be true, i cannot be so stupid to call my personal glo line (08051516844) from my mtn (08069134574) while my two phones are with me. Check your system very well because, guest you are hiding something from the truth. The day i discvered this problem before i reported to you, i did'nt even call mtn talkless of calling my personal glo line. If this is how you want to start to defraud me, i think, i better destroy my mtn sim card, then i will know that, i don't a problematic network like yours. Period.

@luluosas
dude stop making noise please, u are a very minute (very very minute) fraction of mtn's total customers. if u want to take it out on them, go and take it out on them, not all this noise here like they took ur life savings.

if u didn't use your glo number for some stuff on mtn's system like call divert and all that, how will mtn have YOUR glo number in their logs. u want to say its coincidence? coincidence my foot.

plz just stop all the mtn-stole-my-N100 noise.

@Luluosas
u call mtn "fraudulent network" forgetting the fact you're a fraudulent customer, how many times have u called customer care to complain that u made a call and your account was not debited or that u sent an sms and ur account wasn't debited? how many times have u called mtn to tell them u've been using using their gprs service without paying for it?

now N100 has vanished from ur account (most likely ur fault) and u're making a headline.

Exactly. The dude actually stated in his first post that Glo was his line for life and he used MTN only for night calls. Obviously, he doesnt have two handsets. (because i wont be buying a set for a line i use only at night.) The fact that he diverted calls from his MTN line to his Glo is an obvious one - or why would MTN have that number. . .LOL

Dual Core and Naijafan, why are people saying what you cannot defend? Do you think i just want to post a thread for posting sake? For your information, i have never browse on mtn without been paid for. All your free browsing stuff you usually posts here, i have nothing to do it. Bad thing will always remain a bad thing. Instead of you people to rise and challenge bad services, you are castigating people for reporting fraudulent service been rendered by mtn. One more thing for you. I bought my mtn line for buying sake because i hate them with passion for telling Nigerians lies when they stated operation that, per second billing was not possible until 2008. Are you not on per second now, can you beat that? Look, i can never divert my calls for whatever reason. Can you be so stupid to do that to the phones you are holding at the same time? Afterall, you are not mtn, i decided to let my fellow nairalandersw know my experience and you stated saying rubbish of yourself. Stop this i too know of yours.
