Feeler from Abuja has it that Dr Christopher Kolade has resigned his appointment as the chairman of the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P).

SURE-P initiative is an intervention device of Jonathan administration employed in catalyzing some of the FG's special projects in need of funds. It was set up when the FG announced the removal of the fuel subsidy and funded with about 42% of the subsidy removal.

How can a news report make front page on NL without verification? Why do the moderators and administrators of NL wish this govt evil all the time? What is NL up to? Why not wait for the news to be verified before hitting front page with it? Why are the administrators of NL always in a hurry to put any report that places the govt in bad light on the front page?

Even if the man resigned, cant NL wait for a few seconds to atleast verify the report?

The same SURE-P they said was not working has suddenly become talk of the town to the extent that some opposition elements and their internet dogs feel threatened by the programme. SURE-P is now a house hold name.

Anyway, if its true that Kolade resigned, it is sad. It will be important if the reason for his resignation is known. Nonetheless, if truely he resigned, some other person will take his place. The transformation train can NEVER be stopped for any reason.

I had so much respect for this old man until he accepted this appointment after the subsidy saga, ab initio for any upright person the idea of sure p is a fraud.

I lost respect for the old man for been easily deceived and if it is true that he resigned then I will advice him to come clean and make some explanation in order to regain his lost glory.

Sure P is a product of injustice that nigerian fought against, people died and now being used as a tool for 2015 campaign.
