Singer, Madonna, has been involved in philanthropic projects in Malawi. She has adopted two Malawian-born children, and has announced her vow to help curb poverty there. Madonna says she’s building schools, but the government says they are classrooms. The Malawian government accuses Madonna of seeking out too much praise, and bullying its officials. Madonna says she was ill-treated during her recent trip to Malawi, denied VIP treatment and she had to check in at the airport. The final spark to the row appears to be a weird over-familiar hand-scrawled note she sent to the Malawian president, Joyce Banda.
