The bible actually states that anyone with wisdom should work out or decipher the meaning. This has been a subject of controversy over the centuries since the apocalyptic revelation of John. I have browsed thru the internet for definitive answers but none is coherent and conclusive.

My question is this: Has any one broken the Code.? I
need answers from Spirit led people. Please lets not go into controversial issues and stale contributions of the likes of veri -chip technology, davinci codes, illuminati and masonry stuff etc cos i've had enough doses of them.

Perhaps you should not be looking for the code - that will distract, more than stabilize you in your faith (if you're a Christian). The Bible rather encourages us to be "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Heb. 12:2).

There are such warnings in other verses of a coming diabolic figure. In II Thes. 2, we are informed of this figure who is variously called the man of sin, the son of perdition, that Wicked one (vs. 3, 8 ); even so, we're not to be looking for him, but rather rejoicing and waiting in patience for the Man of righteousness, the Son of God (vs. 16-17). In Revelation 13 where this diabolic figure is identified figuratively as "the beast" (although vs. 18 says he's a man), we are not told to be looking for him, but that when he is revealed, those who have wisdom would be able to identify him plainly by counting his number.

Trying to break the code of 'the beast' before he is revealed is counter-productive to a healthy faith in Christ. The Bible clearly tells us that he will be revealed in his own time, for we know what is witholding him (II Thes. 2:6-. When it comes to events of divine calendar, man's inquisitive heart likes to run ahead of God's timing in order to work out a formula for many things. God has a way of keeping our hearts contented with the right things, and that is why the Lord Jesus warned that, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power" so that we are not distracted from the more important calling of witnessing by the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:7-.

Before the coming of Christ in the First Advent, prophets in OT times also expressed the desire to know about the times and seasons of the things they prophesied: "Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow." (I Pet. 1:11). But then, it was revealed to them that their prophecies were for another generation and not theirs (vs. 12). Now, the times they prophesied and the glories that follow are upon us in this age: "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come" (I Cor. 10:11).

When this diabolic figure rises, believers will not come under his caprices; we are not waiting for him, but rather for the Lord of Glory to be revealed from heaven.

Why is it that persons mistakenly refer to the mark as 666? 666 is not the mark, and will never be. It is the number of the beast.

If you really desire to know what the mark is you'd have to discover what exactly is the beast according to Revelation 13. If you have the time please take a look at this video link:
