haba....how many naija peeps can afford the HTC one or S4. Even in developed countries, peeps rarely buy these expensive phones on payG. They get them on contract I.e the HTC one could go for 35-40 pounds per month on tmobile, vodafone e.t.c and you pay that for 24 months. Until naija gets to that stage, people won't stop buying techno and other cheap Asian products.

If there is going to be a thread for HTC one pushed to the FP. The views would be very minimal and only you and a couple of rich guys would end up discussing on the thread.

Oga its not about being rich,its abt what works for u,and I always prefer the word affordable..well I shouldn't argue much cos u ended up calling techno "cheap" which is what it is,let truth be told techno is wack,and I'm not hating on the asians..the huawei windows phone is decent,i still have grudges against huawei for naming the fone"4Afrika"..buh its a very decent phone,the LG's are cool too,I'm not blindly trying to spoil ur mind about u and ur techno but I have actually had a "hand's on" with techno's and Truth be told I wasn't impressed

I laugh at cats talking trash about the phone because they got higher phones. It is only an abnormal person will call this phone a total crap without considering these facts:
1. Price : Take that same amount of money to buy any other brand of phone and make comparison.
2. OS: You call it crap because it lack Custom Roms, you install same app in both phones be it custom or stock and it does the same job. Where is the crap then?
3. Battery and spare parts: Your so called mighty phone gets a short battery life ( though it is because of its sophisticated hardware and OS version) and this one you call crap beat them down in terms of battery life. Even to get an extra battery is possible at lowest prices.
Put yourself in the shoes of those that sweat to get an android phone. If Tecno never existed, will they enjoy these stupid worthless phones like galaxy pocket, galaxy pro y or Etisalat Gaga? Or should they steal to buy HTC one phone worth a 100bucks? If tecno should decide to make a sophisticated phone like S4, what makes you think they can't? The big boys should keep producing phones for you guys that feels no one is richer than yourselves while tecno keep listening to the cry of the low class people.
Am using LG Nexus 4 E960 having 2GB ram, Quad core processor and running Jelly beans but I cannot rely on that phone for calling and receiving. I cannot risk to cut my main SIM card because I want to put it in that phone. I am using N3 and planing to give out this N3 to buy Tecno P3 if and only If the battery is as good as N3. Meanwhile, buy Nokia E7 and compare it Tecno N3. Then state which one is crap

Affordable? so how many people do you think can afford phones that cost above 30k naira in Nigeria . Have you ever wondered how come threads on techno phones reach over 200 pages? Its just a reflection of the affordability you mentioned. For your info, I don't own a techno n not planning to buy one in the future. I am just saying, techno has come to stay in naija as long as this country remains underdeveloped and people don't have access to cheap credit like they do in developed countries or 2nd world countries where the forum on htc one, one x, e.t c originates. shikena!!!

Herdeoye: Tecno is out with another new product. Its the P3. Though it seems it's only available in Kenya at the moment. Saw it on Tecno Kenya page, which was shared by their page here in Nigeria. Specs not available at the moment. I guess the Tecno fans would love this.

What is the essence of wasting huge sum of money on HTC, s4 and co when I can as well get almost the same qualities from an affordable Tecno phone. We all have different tastes anyway. As for me, games, graphics and screen size is not an issue. As long as I can use these amazing apps(both learning, sporting, entertaining and so much more) and getting maximum utility, I'm sticking with Tecno Android all the way, already used d5 and currently using n3 and very soon switching over to p3.
