There is this red Toyota Avalon that I've been seeing around my place in school for over two years. The car is still fairly new, the user manual is still inside it. I got curious when the car hasn't moved for two years now, and I found out that it was stolen by students. The reg number is LAGOS CX 420 KTU. . . I can't go to the police for personal reasons, so I decided to post it here. I hope it gets the required publicity.

@op what's the name of your school? Which area do u live? u can still give details of where the car is being parked since you don't want to go to police, if the mods decides to put on front page, am sure the news will go round but firstly, we need your location asap.

I want to believe u don't reside in this country, or ignorant or just plain clueless, u ask why he did not go to the police like u do not know hw terrible the police ccould be ..I don't blame him, just take a snapshot of the car and put it up here, whoever wants to report to the police can do so at his\her own risk, u would have done ur bit.

He doesn't want to go to the police because the police will first collect money from you before you can make a statement and also if you are unlucky you may be placed behind counters immediately as a suspect... I don't blame him at all...

If ever you,ve been framed up or accused by the Nigerian police just to fleece money from you, you'll understand why people are dead scared of those guys. I really dont blame the Nigerian police because they too are victims of circumstances. One of the car's window has been broken. . .it's late to take pix now, maybe tomorrow.

I feel bad whenever I see the car. Parked, unused, wasting. Students now sit on the boot for evening idle talk. Now that I've done the best I can, I can only hope that the car is found.
