Being caught with a gun is not even the offence here. The question we should answer is, is there a licence for that gun? Such an answer can not be inferred from this shallow report. Politicians, for justified security reasons, do normally possess guns. |

1. I do not believe the credibility of the weblink provided to this story. 2. No reasonable police officer or law agent will put a gun in the hands of just anybody and take a snapshot of it while asking the lawmaker to sit on the bare ground. 3. Assuming the lawmaker indeed has a gun, does he have a gun licence as well? Unfortunately, the spurious weblink does not tell us about that. |
