Mockery does work for some people and that's enough to justify it on many occasions. What is Saudi Arabia or Iran supposed to show? Have they become nations to emulate or something with regards to religious freedom?

oh becos they (iran/saudi arabia) dont have religious freedom, one shouldnt mock them abi...but if there is religious freedom, one can go ahead and mock to the highest heavens for all you want! what mr. ravi is saying is you dont just classify all religions and then mock them in a country that gives you freedom and refuse to do same in another country - if your conviction is that strong why not go to such countries and speak your mind. On whether the impotency or not, its left to the follower to decide on his conviction and you on your non-conviction should decide. But mocking will definately bring its retribution.

Did I say ALWAYS? Actually, depending on the situation, it can have a lot to do with the person, idea or situation being mocked. An ad hominem is a logical fallacy, while mockery isn't an argument. What you just did was a category error.
