Three people were killed and at least twenty people seriously injured today April 26th in a multiple accident involving a truck and four buses along the Enugu Onitsha Expressway in Awka, Anambra State.

The accident occurred when the truck loaded with palm kernel oil had break failure and crashed into five stationery vehicles parked at a bus park near Unizik Junction. Unfortunately, the driver of the truck and two passengers in a bus loading at the park died instantly. 20 people were seriously injured.

Imagine that rotten truck still plying between roads and caused the death of those young lads. Shiiiiior!

That park shouldn't have been there in the first place. . Very close to the ever busy road and lots of such accidents have happened in the past. get that dirty motor park to a safer cleaner and neater place

I was there live and I must say its a miracle the head count was that low cos that truck entered the popular TRACAS park.

Bu wait oooo. What is this generation turning into? When this thing happened yesterday, about 90% of people there were snapping the dead and wounded, 8% were just there wailing and the remaining 2% like me who is trying to help someone couldnt even have enough space to move around let alone do anything.

It was just so heartbreaking watching people die and not being able to do anything!

The Tracas park and the one opposite it should be moved at once. This ain't the first time trucks are failing brakes and ramming into the parks. Even the overhead pedestrian built has been abandoned as it has been taken over by beggars and sellers.

Rip to the dead, but until we get things done the right way, I'm afraid such incidences will not cease to occur.
