Weaves Vs Afro ?? by Nobody: 4:05pm On Apr 27, 2013
My husby has been complaining of my weaves since day one.. If its not him eatin some when trying to kiss me ..its my hair being all over the room when cleaning ..I've thought of permanently removing it but my natural hair very hard to maintain and I don't really think it suits me at all...

Would like to get ur opinion on whether I should dish weaves nd go natural(coarse afro) for my husbands sake or just carry on with my weaves and maybe he'll get use to it..??

I put this post on fashion coz u might b the better judge ..xoxo

You look lovely
Your husband?............you dont look a day older than 15...........seriously
Anyway, I think the last pic with your own hair looks lovely, it depends on how you style it
Natural is also a good idea..........I m going natural as well
There are some lovely videos on you tube to teach and inspire you
Just have a look and see

married at 19!..anyway you can just wear a wig nd canerow ur hair down underneath
Re: Weaves Vs Afro ?? by Nobody: 9:34pm On Apr 27, 2013
Wow! You're married?!

I think there are ways to avoid his complain while still wearing weaves.
Personally, I hate seeing hair on the floor, sink, bath tub or wherever.
What I advice u do is style your hair in the bathroom and when you're done, clean up after yourself. I mean wipe and sweep any hair.
I don't know how this might sound, but buy hair that sheds a Lil.(like 3 strands each time u comb) I mean that's how we test for good hair right?? Washing and taking care of your weave helps too. Avoid too many oily products on your weave.
When you're at home, have your weave in a pony tail or wrap it up as much as u can. That's if your hubby doesn't mind smiley

Natural hair does shed too, at the end of the day, you reduce shedding by how much you are willing to take care of your hair.

I'm torn, can't decide between the 2. So what I've done now is keep my hair natural under the weave. I'll check in a few months time if I have the guts to go natural or not. I have been considering getting a perm done as well...whole lot of options come to think of it.

I think the best thing is to do what makes you happy, because men r confused themselves at times. One will say - preffer a natural girl but you'll find him cheating with a girl with some weave.Like seriously..! grin

I'm a big fan of the Ghana weave with or without extensions. Have you tried it before?
