I have noticed that the more enlightened one is, the less likely he is to be a christian.

Each sunday in many churches, 90% of the sheeple there have never seen the inside wall of an institute of higher education.

Christianity also encourages illiteracy because they are afraid of losing their sources of income.

Augustine of Hippo warned people to beware of mathematics. They made him a saint.

I now start to understand why I can't reason with the likes of Frosbel, Jesoul, Stricktlymi, Oladegbu, Goshen, et al. We are not on the same intellectual level.

And I am not ready to go down many levels because of useless brains. So atheists, next time you are discussing with a real christian, please note that his/her level of intelligence is not what you may be thinking it is.

I never wanted to drop a comment, but I just have to do that right about now.

What is illiteracy? or who is an illiterate?

Do you know you are an illiterate to christianity?
I rest my case.

This should yield better fruits than a mod ban.

Do you want to put the bolded to test or are you going to run away like a good christian?

Most Nairaland Christians are anti-knowledge(check threads with topics like "Russian billionaire plans to make humans immortal by the year 2045" etc) and you will be appalled at the level of opposition to new scientific knowledge but to call them illiterates?Man that is off key!!!

Nairaland Christians are but a tiny proportion of christianity. And those are the "educated ones". Imagine what the rest are like.
No. Don't imagine. Just attend any church next sunday and try to speak with one of them.

Depends on the church you enter and even then ignorance will be in grades.
E.g If you have the misfortune to stumble into a gathering of the lords chosen SHEEPLE.You would find more ignorance compared to say, Jw.

seriously op, i dont blame u when u say this.
imagine reading through a thread and saw a christian write, "do you know the air u breath is free?" i was like duhh. the air is just a necessity that is found in out environment. whether we use it to breath or not, it will always be there. perhaps he would have said the virus that attacks us is free. can we survive with just air? why are people dying despite the "free" air?
