Ever heard the sunni stereotype,generalization and false slogan about the Shia? Almost all of them repeat the generalized claim that "the shia hate the companions of Prophet Muhammad (sa) ".the Shia do dislike some wrong-doing companions,and do express love and honor for other well-meaning,loyal and truthful companions (sahaba) of Prophet Muhammad (sa).however,because the ones the shia dislike include the likes of abu bakr and umar,sunnis falsely generalize that the "shia hate the companions",without stating or specifying which of the companions among the thousands.

The point of this thread is not on the shia position on the companions (sahaba) but to expose the dishonest position of the sunnis on the companions that sunnis have tried to conceal.the Sunnis say they love and honor ALL and anyone who was a companion and do not condemn any of them regardless of how bad that person was or what he did.

this belief is false and a lie as evident in Sunni texts.a number of companions of the Prophet (sa) who were part of the Shia of Imam Ali (as),after the death of Prophet Muhammad (sa),were killed by Muawiya,the son of Abu Sufyan,archfoe of the Prophet (sa).sunni texts cast doubt on the character of those companions like Ammar Ibn Yasser (RA) and Hujr Ibn Adi (RA) who were killed by Muawiya.Hujr (RA) was one of the most loyal companions of the Prophet (sa) to Imam Ali (as),that Imam Ali (as) once wished he had a hundred like Hujr (RA)!

Today we witness and condemn the abominable crime Sunni sectarianists,terrorists and rebels have committed in Syria.these despicable creatures desecrated the grave of Hujr Ibn Adi (RA),by destroying it and exhuming his remains.they have done this to the memory of Hujr Ibn Adi al-Kindi (RA) who was killed unjustly by Muawiya,a "companion" loved by Sunnis and hated by Shia,because Hujr (RA) was a Shia of Imam Ali (as) and was staunchly opposed to Muawiya.Hujr (RA) was a companion of Prophet Muhammad (sa) and the Shia love him contrary to the Sunni lie that Shia "hate THE COMPANIONS" (a monstrous generalization).again Hujr (RA) was a companion of Prophet Muhammad (s) and Sunnis have displayed hate against Hujr (RA).so we can also say that Sunnis hate the companions,or since we are not like them we can say sunnis hate "SOME" companions.

Hujr Ibn Adi's (ra) grave was destroyed and his remains exhumed and taken to unknown location.this sad news shattering and exposing the hypocrisy of sunnis and their view/belief on the sahaba came in this morning.

Reports from Syria say Wahhabi extremists have desecrated the grave of an ancient Muslim figure near the capital, Damascus.

The militants have reportedly attacked the mausoleum and exhumed the grave of Hujr ibn Adi in the Damascus suburb of Adra, and took his remains to an unknown location.

Hujr - a close companion of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and a staunch supporter of the first Shia Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH) - led the army of Muslims to victory in several crucial battles.

He and his sons finally fell victim to their loyalty Imam Ali (PBUH) and were murdered on the orders of the Umayyad Caliph Muawiyah in the year 660 CE.

Syria has been experiencing a deadly unrest since March 2011, and many people, including large numbers of army and security personnel, have been killed in the chaos.

The Syrian government says that the violence is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the insurgents are foreign nationals.

Damascus says the West and its regional allies Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey are supporting the armed groups.

In addition, several international human rights organizations have accused the militants fighting the Syrian government of committing war crimes.

According to reports by online media, the militants in Syria have raided the mausoleum of Hujr ibn Adi in the Damascus suburb of Adra, and taken his remains to an unknown location.”

Iran has strongly condemned the desecration of an ancient tomb on the outskirts of Damascus belonging to a Shia Muslim figure, warning the perpetrators against the consequences of the blasphemous act.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Friday that those behind the sacrilegious act will receive a response that will make them regret exhuming the Muslim figure from the tomb.

He described the perpetrators as the elements of the Israeli regime who have carried out similar moves against holy Muslim sites in occupied Palestine before.

In the meantime, clerics at the Islamic Seminary in the central Iranian holy city of Qom called off classes on Saturday to protest the profane move. They were to stage a protest rally at the seminary to denounce the act of blasphemy.

Al-Azhar condemned exhumation of the grave of Hojr-e-bin Odday in Syria by Al-Nasr terrorist group

Sheikh Mansour Mandoor, a member of Egypt’s Al-Azhar talking to Al-Alam Network condemned exhumation of the grave of the Hojr-e-bin Odday one of Prophet’s (PBUH) Sahabas in Syria by armed terrorist groups. He added that Al-Azhar’s position has always been clear regarding the respect for Prophet’s (PBUH) Sahabas. He said Al-Azhar is against such actions and consider it Haram (forbidden) especially in the case of Hojr-e-bin Odday who met the Prophet (PBUH) and his lofty position is known to all. Last Thursday armed terrorist elements belonging to Al-Nasr group affiliated to Al-Qaida accepted responsibility for exhuming the body of Hojr-e-bin Odday in Reef province of Syria and found the body the same as the day it was buried. The terrorists have taken the body with themselves to an unknown location.

Khaled Abdulwahab Molla the Head of Iraqi Sunni Associations declared condemnation of all Iraqi Sunnis for barbaric actions of terrorist groups in Syria which led to exhumation of the grave of Hojr-e-bin Odday and asked all international organisations to support the sanctity and respect of all shrines and grave yards around the world. The statement issued by all Iraqi Sunnis said the serial attacks of the Islamic personalities by the infidels led to exhumation of the grave of Hojr-e-bin Odday, the respected Sahhabi of the Prophet (PBUH). This is one of the most indecent acts in order to insult highly respected Muslim personalities, said the statement.

The statement declared that the continuation of such deliberate acts is a sign of barbaric ways which are used by armed terrorist groups to combat Islamic teachings. The Iraqi Sunni asked all international organisations to act in order to support the sanctity and respect for all shrines and grave yards around the world. According to Kol-ol Iraq News Association, the Iraqi Sunnis warned Muslims to be aware of attacks by the Takfiri groups against the Islamic civilisation and culture and asked all Muslims to unite in order to defend Islam by opposing these groups.
