I can remember when our own started giving wahala.... it will up its volume without anyone touching it. Then if you want to bring down the volume you will slap the TV on top or by the side.
If there was a visitor and the volume raises by itself, my sister will or any older sibling will call me (being the last) I will stylishly go close to the TV and slap it without the visitor being the wiser. And if you look for my trouble I will simply close the doors to the TV.

Hahaha,very funny.....ours use to have this annoying lines! most times my dad had to hit d top of the TV to make it clearer.....

...and these were the type of TVs dat needed little or no repairs. Just a few slaps will solve several problems.

There was a knob, called V-Hold, that you turned when the picture quality was bad (and lines appeared on the screen). Turning that knob ensured that the lines disappeared (if that didn't work, you had to bang the top of the tv until the lines vanished).

Who remembers "radiogram"? It was the radio version of this tv.

Was very young when I saw this TV for the first time at my cousins. I grewup on JVC color and the black and white plus the stale smell and hard wooden arm chairs at their place made me hate visiting especially whenever Voltron was supposed to be on.

Ours was like this and I bet it is still somewhere in our garage just hoping 0k_2_NV will come and turn him up and watch afternoon cartoons like in the old days. I know this cause I know it will still work.

Mine grandfather's was modernized. I had lucozade boost nylon on it.
