Why Don't More Naija Women Have Natural Hair???? by BeautifulNaija(f): 3:18pm On May 10, 2013
I truly do not understand. Most Naijas use harmful chemicals (relaxers) or other straightening methods in order to achieve a straight look. Why? Why do most strive to fit into a Eurocentric perspective of beauty. WE ARE BEAUTIFUL AS WE ARE. We need to unchain our minds and break free. I have natural hair and am willing to help anyone who is considering going natural or is already natural.

What do you think of this phenomenon?

There is a great natural thread somewhere around here, perhaps you could find it and post there. I would help but Im too lazy to search right now. Personally I love the natural hair and wish more ladies (of all ethnicities) kept their hair natural.
