Please help my Mitsubishi L300 Bus now consumes fuel like water. My mechanic advised that I service the injector but am afraid as I don't want to compound the problem with their trial and error. I am appealing to our able experts in the House to kindly advice on possible cause and permanent solution. The Bus is just 4 years and I have not done any major mechanical work except servicing.

is it 64, 32, 16valve or 63 engine if the engine has started shorting oil that could cause it try service the injector or check the rings.it is very difficult to get a good mechanic who can service injector very well most mech end up creating more problem than finding solution to an existing problem.i advice check uer wiring the injector and the condition of ur metals and block.good luck.
