Corruption in Nigeria started when EVE was travelling to the north to buy apples and ADAM was sleeping in the south, the taxi EVE was using belongs to the east and the WEST was just watching.hope the answer is simple enough?

Are sure you should writing a book you don't much about its subjects?
Anyway,back to your question. No one can pinpoint when corruption started, as before the British left, we have always had the corrupt court clerks that interpret for the white man in the village courts. They will demand a goat and a bag of rice in exchange for your freedom even when the white judge had pronounced you not guilty.
But it was Mr 10 percent-Chief Festus Okotie-Ebo that first glamourised corruption in Nigeria.
