With a whopping N5,000 monthly fees on this new Infinitiser Postpaid plan from, even though it charges free on-net calls, is this new tariff a welcome development from Glo, or it is a rip-off on Nigerians?

The N5000 monthly fees covers all your glo2glo calls and 1GB data volume every month but, you have to load your account in order to call other networks, send SMS and make international calls. Thank you.

It's good for high volume users but for average guys like me 5k is high, i'm on GBAM with my 5 registered numbers, i make calls a lot onnet offnet, f&f, i even get tired of calling and i dont exhaust more than 3k a month (combined MTN and glo). With data, maybe 4k a month but thats when i'm doing maximum calling and browsing. I think it should be reviewed to suite the majority who are mostly youths and medium callers and middle class in the society.

Good point. In fact, I am clamouring for a N2000 monthly subscription fees as it will encourage more people to use it.
However, does anybody even use their Talk Free prepaid plan that offers 150 free glo2glo minutes and 150 free glo2glo SMS monthly for N1000 access fees? www.gloworld.com/talkfree.asp
