Ok! I know this is not the appropriate section to post this, but I can't seem to find a suitable one.

I'm encountering difficulties in attaching a new email to my Nairaland account. I opened my account a long time ago, and right now I no longer have access to the email I used in opening it. I've tried changing my email with the "edit profile" interface, but it's not working. Hence I've not been able to send/receive PM...

I've not complained before now cos I thought Seun was going to create a personal message interface within the site and there would be no need for email, but it seems that will not come anytime soon...

My 'honourable' moderators and super-moderators, pls can you help pass this message to the appropriate quarters? Better still, can you help find a solution to this problem?

Dear Mr. Seun Osewa,
I -----, with the username 'Kofsy' simply want to change my email address. Whenever I try changing it through the 'edit profile' interface, I get a message that I need to verify my new email address before it is changed. By 'verify', I expect to get a mail in my new email prompting me to click on a link probably to confirm that this new email actually belongs to me. Sadly, I don't get such email. I don't know what's wrong. The new email I'm trying to switch to is an 'hotmail'.

I will really appreciate if you can help fix this. I've tried several times all to no avail. Pls find attached the screen munch of the message I usually get when I submit my request.

Go ahead and verify it...re-fill the blank spaces provided and click on update profile.

I have tried that. When I click on continue editing your profile it takes me to the edit my profile page. Then when I click on change email, it takes me to the change email page, but this time, the "confirm email" box that I had filled earlier becomes blank. I have tried re-filling it and then submitting, but It's like a merry-go-round, it keeps returning me to where I started
