Did d oral interview on the 7th of May dis year@ d bank's MCC road branch @ Owerri and was successful and I was subsequently sent a test to go for my Medicals which I had on d 10th of May but up till now I have not heard anytin from d bank and am kinda worried which is why I started dis thread so peeps in similar situation cud exchange news and information cos I heard from a reliable source dat d next batch of trainees for owerri training school wud commence training on the 25th of May;barely 4days from now......plz plz plz info and news wud be highly appreciated....thanks

I guess they are not ready for owerri peeps yet. Some pipl are yet to do their medicals. Heard its calabar batch dt did their medicals in calabar and environs that are heading to ts today. Just keep urself busy with something. They'll inform u when they r ready

Pls I need hint on how to pass diamond interview, I have an interview wit the bank on June 2. Pls any hints/Tips would be highly appreciated. Dress code and so on.

@Obax....dress code black or grey suit wit a white or blue shirt,any colour of tie wud serve. D most important asset u nid on dat day is confidence. I can't categorically tell u so so and so is what dey wud ask u for no two interviews r ever d same but u wud def be asked to tel dem about ursef;it cud be framed in different ways but d central idea is to tel dem about U.And plz make sure everytin on ur cv is true cos dey wud go thru it bit by bit and draw up questions from wat dey c on ur cv.
Jus for pointers,lemme share sum of d tins I was asked during mine....afta I was asked to talk about masef,dey now asked me why I wanted to work in a bank since I have a degree in Engineering.I was also asked to state Newton's first and second laws of motion(so be prepared for anytin ooo).
They asked me sum questions bothering on sum of d certifications I had listed on ma cv...can't rily rememba all sha ooo,but I hope d little I sed so far wud help.In all,prepare adequately;if possible do a mock @ home and above all pray and ask God for guidance,direction and Confidence to soar....wish u luck dear.

"For those going to TS in Owerri u dnt have to worry much about accomodation. IMSU private hostels are located on d same Street with d training sch. So u Just pay for a room. Mehn those in d training sch use to dress even better than d comfirmd bankers demselves! My former place of work is very close to d training sch." Bros jus relax,u sud make d next stream of TS,am in training now but did not go with people I did interviews and medicals with;TS is done in batches and I believe d next stream won't pass u by,so jus be patient and kip prayin for God's favour.....Godspeed all d way.

. I learnt IMSU private hostel is very close to TS, so u culd try that option.

Go to DB office @waast avenue,d same place dat doubles as d training skool,ask afta Uche(he is HCM staff),he is d training skool coo dinator,he wud accept ur cv if cvs r stil vin accepted.
PS: HCM means human capital management.Hhope dis piece of info is useful but u cud also scan thru d oda diamond thread on nairaland for list of email addresses u cud forward ur cv to. Wish u luck and Godspeed.

Hostels abound every where around d training centre,also,dier is a hotel(Royal Nordic) dat gives accommodation to TS peeps for about 70gees amonth,altho 2 persons can stay sha and d hotel is about 3minutes walk to d TS centre but its beta if u can get a self contain hostel around d skool for sumwat around 50gees for 3 months(altho d prices vary depending on d hostel).
