Wonders Shall never end a prominent prophet in Ghana Reverend Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom wants a contest with Nigerian pastors to proof they have more powerful than Nigerian pastors.

Reverend Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also known as Opambour is calling for a spiritual contest between Ghanaian pastors and their Nigerian counterparts to determine the most powerful.

The Founder of the Kumasi based Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center is unhappy about what he says is special treatment and respect Ghanaians give to foreign pastors.

He threw the challenge on Metro TV.

Reverend Adarkwa Yiadom, who also calls himself, Prophet One, fumed that Ghanaians don’t regard pastors in the country because perceive pastors who come from other countries as more powerful.

Ghanaians have relegated pastors here to the background as if the hand of God is not even upon them, he said.

According to him, Ghanaians don’t place value on them because they don’t charge in dollars.

He pointed out that people draw water from a well in his church and for close to eleven years, nobody has died.

There has never been a stampede here to cause death because it is water of life and not water of death, he touted.

This was in obvious reference to last week’s incident at Prophet T.B. Joshua’s church in Ghana where four people died in a stampede trying to access supposed free holy water.

Rev. Adarkwa Yiadom asserted that God would reveal to a true man of God when something is about to happen in his church, and would not allow people to die for the man of God to be disgraced.

He asserted that he is not afraid of a challenge between pastors from Ghana and Nigeria to find out the most powerful, adding that he is ready to represent Ghana in this contest.

Now this is getting very interesting...

"Ghanaians don't place value on them because they don't charge in dollars"??...Does this mean that they even charge for the services they render? Or are they saying that Ghanaians value on them should be monetary?

Does he want this spiritual contest because he craves to be recognized financially by Ghanaians? Indeed the 'good' prophet's motive is very questionable and frankly it would be difficult to associate this with God's spirit...

God does not work with spirit of competition. I hate speaking against men of God. When as a pastor or prophet, one is not yet recognized, pray and wait. If It does not come, continue everybody dont carry the same glory.
How does he even want to prove his power? Ok we have heard.

I don't think there is anything wrong in asking for a 'contest', even with the devil...My ish with this guy is his intent...

From the OP it can be argued that the 'good' prophet wants this contest because of his longing for personal recognition which for him should translate to monetary gains.

really interesting my brother, one of their pastor also here in Ghana is telling his members to donate money for them to have their own TV stations because that is what Nigerian pastors are using to get all their members.

Very funny!

If they believe they are called to the service of God and his people, then they should focus on God and the flock in their care, not focus on other 'MoG' and their flock.

Anyways, the intent of these so called 'MoG' are easily deciphered...I do hope the members would see the facade and do what is right.
