If only Nigerians knew the amount of efforts that go into these carefully planned tricks to make them believe in "miracles", "jazz", etc. In virtually all instances of faith healing and juju demonstrations, there are usually many players involved. In churches, the players include the supposedly "sick" person and their "distraught" families, alongside the pastor and his aides, of course. For the juju men, especially those that exhibit publicly, the players often include "random" members of the crowd and "innocent" passersby. I sincerely hope we'll wake up some day.

Well they say that there are non so blind as those who refuse to see. Our juju men are not even as adept at sleight of hand as they could be. They rely mostly on psychological manipulation of the superstitious mind.

An interesting documentary and an interesting way of promoting skepticism but I wonder if it will be enough to counter what the charlatans are out there doing. Without more background knowledge and education, the charlatan would simply have to use tricks different from what they were shown but hopefully, the mindset of initial skepticism towards such claims will blossom.
