Users or those who have actually compared both phones side-by-side. Forget specs now. Please, which is advisable to get.?

Anyway, I think the first thing you could have done was to go through the threads of both phones and read the comments there. Start from the 1st page to the last of both threads. I believe you will get what you are looking for. There are lots of end user reviews there, even with pictures of the phone.
Tecno Phantom F7 is a cool phone but I would not go for it, if given the options to choose between both phone.
Just for two reasons... Gionee Dream D1 comes with Amoled display and Cornilla glass. You can google it if you are not sure of the meanings.
BTW, Gionee Dream D1 is about 5k more expensive than Tecno Phatom F7.
But.....yes.....there is a BUT....Gionee Dream D1 comes with a non-removable battery. i.e the battery can't be removed. There are no service centres in Nigeria, the phone comes with a 4.65 inches screen while Tecno comes with 5 inches screen....

It all depends on what you need and your pocket. I am sure that the Tecno guys will soon flood this thread if they are in the mood, so you will get more reviews from the tecno peeps.

As for me, I will take the Gionee Dream D1 over Tecno F7 anytime, anyday.

D1 has a wacky structure. No one cn naturally c it and say it has d specs it does. Phantom all the way.

But seriously, you can just search for the specs and compare them yourself (both phones have active thread on nairaland).
As for me, I'll go for Gionee Dream D1, your opinion may differ though.

sorry to ask this o, but is the Gionee Elite E6 the same as Dream D1? becuse i searched for the former o!!! Why seeing posts on D1
