There is no way this device can retail below 200k here in naija. That's roughly $1,200.
Ordinary BB Q10 is around $750 here.
@Lord_Reed, the issue with HDMI is that it's not yet a standard feature on most projectors.
I guess Toshiba and co should look into that ASAP.

HD projectors abound kind sir.

caukerzee: LOL...tecno kids and their insecurities. so this is what all your rating on this thread has been all about ehn? guy before tecno makes tablet like this, the technology would have already been deemed outdated. just like the phones you ve been disturbing us about is what flagship users of samsung and other big smartphone companies have already enjoyed some 2-3 years ago. i have a feeling that most of yall just upgraded from java or bb and are so overwhelmed by the android expirience that you cannot just come to terms with the fact that there are other better devices than the cheap phones you have. its not like you people do anything productive with the phones other than playing games. i have many of your kind in my school.
mumu! Am not a tecno fan, am a thl fan. Go and learn about them. Idegbe grin

docadams: Nigerians! Analyzing and de-analyzing products that will hardly add real value to their lives. If by stroke of luck some eventually acquire this devise they will hardly attain 10 percent mastery of its functions b4 they are hit with another improved version in the succeeding year. And then the incessant grovelling will rise to a new decibel potraying these incurable addicts of having a brain permanently on cocaine that needs regular top up.
It wont be a suprise that the cost of all the household goods of many of these wannabes will not sum up to that of these devices.
I remember when I was cajoled into buying galaxy 1, it was constant high BP and anxiety until a 'good' samaritan re-possessed it. And I've been living a normal life thereafter with my Nokia classic 2700, bought in 2009, that is still functioning classically like new. It is the most ingenous phone ever made.
grin cheesy

Still not a problem as there different types of adaptors for HDMI. HDMI to composite, HDMI to VGA and so on.

Off course a sim card slot would be for mobile data access. It's funny that someone mentions a sim card slot and many people immediately imagine its for making phone calls.
And yes the Ativ Q does have provision for USB.

Anyways I'm willing to bet that this tablet will cost over $800.
considering there's an SSD, it'll be more than $1000

Oh boy see specs
The Ativ Q is the larger device, powered by a new Intel Haswell Core i5 CPU (with Intel’s HD Graphics 4400 integrated GPU). It has 4GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with a 128GB SSD. Samsung promises battery life of up to nine hours with the Ativ Q.

Benchmark scores are out
http://blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-ativ-q-and-its-intel-core-i5-4200u-flex-muscles-on-the-antutu-benchmark/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter:
Samsung announced its ATIV Q convertible notebook capable of dual-booting Windows 8 and Android thanks to its 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-4200U CPU. The new generation Intel Haswell CPUs are impressive on paper, but how would ATIV Q’s processor fare on the Android AnTuTu benchmark?

Thankfully, ePrice have asked the same question and have put the Intel Core i5 chip through the AnTuTu hoops to find out. Moreover, this is the first time ever that a Haswell chip has been benchmarked on the Android mobile operating system.

The results are simply breathtaking – the Intel Core i5-4200U running at 1.6GHz scored 54861 points. To give you some perspective the leaked Samsung Galaxy S4 with LTE and its 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 under the hood scored just 24179.

Nevertheless, the result of the Core i5-4200U is impressive whichever way you look at it. Even more so, when you consider the 3200 x 1800 pixels that the display of the ATIV Q is pushing.
