TrebleChamp: I started with 100% around 3pm yesterday without browsing or gaming, just made calls and by 7pm I had 56% left. That is after reducing brightness oh. Woke up this morning with 52% and after about 3hrs of browsing, am left with 13% as at the time of posting this. This is my very first usage sha, I hope the ba3 will improve with subsequent usage?

What you are actually comparing is not the phone but the OS. Generally Android is one of the best mobile OS for sharing all types of files and the web browsers support most of the webpage standards used for job sites so you can do you applications much more easily than on a Blackberry or even a Lumia.

IMHO your decision based on that should be between the S2 and this elife E3. I would choose the S2 for advanced support but for the pleasure of using a brand new device (I assume you are buying the S2 2nd hand) go for the elife E3.

Yeah but he won't be getting the chinese firmware would he? I know we are supposed to expect OTA on Gionee phones but for now in Nigeria Samsung has the better support.

i sweat and pee on my pant oooo cos no google apps come with it until update sv2.3 that now have google apps

The firmware has two language
1.chinese-default
2.english(my life saver)

i saw just saw india version backup,hope it is same with us (nigeria)

The firmware for nigeria were really customised heavily and loaded with apps
i will try to extract default browser for you guys to check it out and more screenshot later
