MTN charges on the MTN Zone tariff plan are outrageously high these days, made many attempts to opt out without any success. please, anyone with an idea on how I can migrate to the FAF plan should help out, as I sent 407 to 131 but kept getting a "you are currently on MTN Zone" reply from MTN

that is because people in your area are making a lot of calls at time. Family and friends is not available at the moment as mtn now have new tariff plan as directed by NCC.mtn smooth talk plus chgs 15k/sec all network aft 1st @ 40k/sec, mtn ipulse & mtn super saver chgs 10k/sec all networks aft 1st @ 42k/sec to mtn or 42k/sec to othr netwk.

What I do when my zone is outrageously high is dat.. I change my network from 3g to edge... Den I start getting 12kb/s sometimes 8kb/s sometimes 4kb/s

Why is mtn is not fair to customers? The question 'how do I deactivate from mtn zone plan? has not been answered by MTN. Are they saying that there is no going out once you are in mtn zone? This is not fair.
MTN can loose many customers if they continue like this.

It's a tariff plan. Migrate to another tariff plan for example MTN true talk plus. They charge 11k/sec to all networks after first caLL @ N5
