What Would You Remember Nelson Mandela For? by fiscalcliff: 12:39am On Jun 27, 2013 |
While the world follows news of Nelson Mandela's latest hospital admission the third since December,I think its time to start saying our goodbyes to him no matter how long he's dragged it I for one do not believe he'll come out alive this time around Why? Jacob Zuma addressed the nation on Sunday night with a backdrop of past and dead ANC leaders as he spoke The White house released a statement about Mandela to South Africans (something not done on the previous 2 occasions) However other pointers have been showing up The flurry of visits from family members, past associates, religious leaders etc The news that he's now on life support Zuma's cancellation of his trip to Mozambique It all points to one thing,Mandela's long goodbye will soon be over So what would you remember him for? |

His forgiveness of his former tormentors which showed his large heartedness, standing for only one term in office and allowing younger ones to take over and his vision and belief to build a multi ethnic society out of the ruins apartheid left behind So let's have yours Spit it out |
