Your greatest moment was when you ably represented your country with skill and tenacity against Italy in the 1994 World Cup. We won't forget.

The third match against Greece was Dan Amokachi and G. Finidi. Our last match which was the second round against Italy the goal scorer was E. Amuneke..so bros where did Oliha score oooo

A member of the distinguished '94 class. The only Nigeria sport team that ever lost and I refused to take dinner. RIP

I only have a vague image of him in my memory from USA 94. But from the comments here, I can deduce that he was part of the reason that team was so thick. You were from a golden generation and we need more people like you to make this nation great. Rest in Peace Oliha.

RIP Man. One of the few naturally gifted midfielders to have laced for the Eagles. Extremely hardworking, box to box dynamo. Tireless runner. Didn't poosess the silky skills of Jay Jay after him but his productivity knew very few equals to date. Sad miss. Sports men should watch their lifestyles after hanging their boots when the discipline of training and competition is gone. The feeling of freedom can sometimes be overwhelming.

This is sad news. Oliha was a tireless ball-winning midfielder back in the days. R.I.P, you were a national hero.

He was a horse; tireless. He did most of the work in the midfield just like Mikel Obi today, not duly recognized because he wasn't an attacking midfielder, hence no goals. I remember his sad and frustrated face after the final whistle was blown by the referee in the second round match against Italy signifying our exit from USA 94.
