Dere re 3 categories of champions: potential champions(champions 2 b),reigning champions(existin champions),nd ex-champions(dose who were once champions).Of d 1st category,virtually every1 was born in2 dis world wit d potential of bcomin a champion.Bt as u would expect,it is 1 tin 2 hav d potential 2 b sumtin,bt it is an entirely diff ball game 2 run wit d vision nd actualise dis potential.Every man is a potential father bt nt all men bcom fathers.Every good potential in ur life shal b pursued 2 its logical conclusion in Jesus name.In Bible terms,Gehazi had d potential of havin 4times d anointin on Elijah,he could hav bcom a super champion,bt he bungled it.In 1977,@a Congress we held @ilorin(Nigeria),durin d prayer time,I told d brethren dat God told me dat 1 day,D Redeemed Christian Church of God wil b all ova d world,nd dat it wil tak place very soon.Dey said amen.I was speakin as a potential champion den.Some among dose who said amen left us.Also,in 1983,durin our 1st Church Convention @d camp grounds,wen we had abt 15 or 16 buildings in all,we slaughtered a total of 10 cows durin d Convention.I told dem dat someday,we wil b usin trailers 2 bring cows 2 our conventions,nd dey said amen.In dat particular year's Congress held @ilorin,I travelled in d company of a brother we were ordained 2gether as pastors on d same day.On our way,I prophesied dat D Reedemed Christian Church of God wil soon be all ova dat place.He said amen.Today,out of d 5 of potential champions ordained d same day wit me; i am d only 1 stil in D Redeemed Christian Church of God.Of d 5,i loved 1 so much.Weneva i travelled 2 his station of service,we would sleep on d same bed.As we lay on d bed,i share wit him d future d Lord had shown me.Yet,as close as we were,he never caught d fire.It is possible 2 sleep by d fire nd never b ignited.May u nt die as a potential champion!
