I think both online and offline marketing are great ways of increasing ones customer base. However, the main difference is in your target. If you're selling wrappers/wax, and you know your customers are most likely to be women who are past middle-age, who are likely to own shops, then it would be pointless advertising online. In the same way, it wouldn't make sense to advertise a service offering Paypal accounts to women selling clothes in the market. If your products/services appeal to people who are both online and offline, then look for where the greater proportion of your market is and channel mosr of your advertising there. 1 Like |
