I heard Freeze (a coolFM presenter) on praise jamz (gospel radio programme) this morning saying that Methuselah did nothing but live long and beget children (not exact words). And i believe many people also think that way about Methuselah. But i believe that this man did more than just create an everlasting and unbreakable 'age' record and father children. The Bible (especially the Old Testament) is a summary of 'popular' and important events, so many events were not recorded. In my opinion, Methuselah must have done great and noble things in his 969 years, but these deeds were not recorded like other 'unpopular' deeds or the bible have had up to 1000 Books. Although his name only appears 6 times in the Bible, the man Methuselah was;
*The Son of Enoch (who walked with God) and didn't die- was translated.

*The Grand-Father of Noah-a father of faith who saved humanity by obeying God.

This alone is a great achievement, atleast Judas was someone's grandson.
