Job Description.

Operates computer-aided Design (AutoCAD) system and produce clear and technically accurate drawings based on the design specifications presented by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.. Other duties may be assigned.

Level Specific Accountabilities.

Design

Generate the fabrication drawings
Prepare fabrication details for skid base frame, sunshade structure, ladder and platforms structures, pipe supports, etc… as per good engineering
practice and applicable client specification and standards.
Prepare fabrication details of ASME pressure vessels and atmospheric tanks based on calculation notes and sketches prepared by design engineer.
Understand structural steel sections, the welding details (type and symbols), and the bolting details for bolted connections
Generate isometric and piping spools drawings with Bill of Material.
Assist the design engineers in verification the material requests as prepared by fabrication engineers.
Generate 3D Models
Prepare 3D Models based on AutoCAD

Miscellaneous
Develop new blocks and templates (part of engineering standardization project).
Provide prints, soft copies of the issued drawings.
Prepare As-Built drawings as Mark-Up drawings prepared by fabrication engineer.
Upload issued drawings to client documentation control system
Prepare and submit daily time sheet
Reviews work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above
are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum education requirement:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience Minimum knowledge and/or Experience requirement:
2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in Fabrication industry.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems
