Though not my problem. Everybody must not agree on the same thing. We sometimes agree and sometimes disagree. Any way round, they are all healthy as their help us to learn more through arguements and dialogues. I have many questions to ask concerning the existence of igbo people. What i need in this thread is friendly arguement. No insults, fights or supremacy. My questions are: do igbo people really exist?, what is the origin of igbo language?, do igbo culture exist?. I asked these questions because of the opinions i have seen on nairaland about those things by igbo people themselves. Pls ur comments.

Igbos and Igbo language and culture may have the same root but my argument has been that not everyone that's known as Igbo today may be from the same roots and it applies to every other group. There must have been a cultural assimilation by some groups that may not have been Igbo. Btw, if the term Igbo has not always been in existence then which Igbo are we talking about anyways?

yes. U said the truth. But after seeing some histories on the internet and after going through some comments here on nairaland then i see need to ask that question. I know that u,afam, have seen such. I will like the history of igbo language to be reviewed.
