SOME members of the House of Representatives have threatened to commence impeachment proceedings against President Umaru Yar’Adua. They accused the President of not implementing the 2008 budget which he signed into law recently, an act they said amounted to an impeachable offence.


The members are angry that the executive arm of government had allegedly refused to implement the budget as passed by the National Assembly but had rather instructed ministries and other government agencies to implement the original budget proposal submitted to the National Assembly by President Yar’Adua.

The members of the house of reps should go ahead and impeach this one step forward, two step backward president as soon as possible.
But this same guys will relax after they must have been handed some "Ghana must go" bags.
