What Payment Processor Works With Nigerian Naira Debit Card(visa Or Mastercard) by Nobody: 8:04am On Jul 21, 2013
Hello, friend.

I am looking for a payment processor that when set up, it will be able to accept payment from Nigerian issued debit cards such as GTB naira Mastercard, Accessbank Naira Visa Card, UBA Naira Visa Card(Africard) etc.

I know some payment processor like 2checkout, Payza etc. but I don't know if they will accept Nigerian debit cards such as what I have listed above.

Also, how can integrate interswitch to accept payments from verve cards and does it cost any money.

If you have any idea, please drop it here.

Thank you and Happy Sunday. cheesycheesycheesycheesy

I just crossed that bridge that you are about to reach.Honestly, after trying everything, interswitch is the only gateway that will do what you want, others would not accept Nigeria cards. After paying N175,000 to interswitch for verve and master cards and N105,000 to unified payments for visa cards, you will need a developer to integrate the process into your website to do what you need the payment success do for you.
Quickteller may be another option if you are selling physical products, it is also powered by Interswitch.
Contact me if you need a developer to integrate for you.

Thanks.

I just go back from personal research and saw cashenvoy.. What do you think about them and are they reliable?

P.S: please try to protect you phone number as secure as possible. It will be better if you drop your emails and avoid scammers from compromising your security.

True, thanks for the observation.I just had a look at the cashenvoy, it sounds good and look like what paypal and quickteller will do, just as I said earlier, if your service is just standard and will not require any website or server programming, cashenvoy or quickteller will work for you.
Your next worry will be who to trust with getting paid after all transactions.

@poster,

why not visit voguepay.com
voguepay is Nigerian based payment processor. You can accept visa/master card, etranzact mobile money on your website when you sign up with voguepay. i think they charge 1% of transaction and/or 120 naira only when you receive payments. I use vogue pay to receive Nigeria bank cards payment on my website and withdraw to my bank account. Integrating their payment gateway/buy button on your site is very simple and easy, requires little or no knowledge in basic programming. you may send me a PM if you want to see how it works.

No. You sign up free. Submit and add your Nigeria bank details free (for your funds withdrawal reason only). Create and install your payment gateway or API free and start receiving naira ATM cards payment directly into your voguepay account.

Do you know of any of them that after accepting payments from my clients will remit to me in dollars as my customers pay on my website in dollars instead of giving me Naira at their own rate and commission?

@arbitrage, i believe you know the drill better as a vast internet guy now.
Anyway, If you will like to receive card payment in dollar on your website, i think you will have to use the likes of Paypal, Payza, Moneybookers or better still contact Payoneer.
Payoneer provides such service for their international clients and your website name will be engraved on your own branded debit cards as a partner. Your clients will order for your cards (optional) when they have a verified accounts with you. Once you meet payoneer's partner requirements, you are good to go cos they will ask you some qs and give you form to fill. Just contact them on their website.
