It depends. What did you study / graduate in?

And what skills do you have to offer? What are your interests / hobbies?

I'm a guy. National diploma[upper credit] & degree [2'1] in mechanical engineering. I've searched for jobs in my field and teaching jobs but i could not get d latter because of accomodation[not in my place of residence, owerri]. My hobby is watching and analysing football

^^ Okay. A couple of things:

~ With your degree, have you considered private tuition? Depending on your strengths, I think you would be a good candidate for teaching Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Technical Drawing. Approach centres that prepare students for their JAMB examinations and find out if they'll be willing to take you on as one of their tutors for the student entrants.

Also speak to your network contact of family and friends. Find out if they've got any kids who need extra help / lessons with their school work. I know you said you've looked out for teaching jobs, but where exactly? Don't limit yourself to just government schools. Widen your search to include private secondary schools too.

~ Okay, I don't know much about football, neither am I a fan of it...but is there a way you could approach any of your local newspapers to see if you could write an article commenting and analysing certain footie matches played regionally? You might even try this approach with the national papers too. I know it's a long shot / stab in the dark, but what have you to loose? Rather, you've got everything to gain.

Again, approach schools in your area to see if they're willing to take you on as a football coach for their pupils, as part of their PE (Physical Education).

~ Finally, if you can afford it, why not advertise yourself/services via newspaper adverts? Or social media sites? The world is changing everyday and technology makes things a lot easier and within reach too. Don't just do things the traditional way. You need to think laterally (out of the box). You never know what's out there until you go looking.

All the best.

All the best.
